Connected right to the Grand Avenue Mall and an "easy trip" to the lakefront, this hotel is "quiet" in spite of its "perfect" Downtown location; although "breakfast's expensive for what you get", and parking, at $15 a day, can be a "hassle", the rest of the hotel is pleasing: the staff is "accommodating" and the rooms, all nonsmoking, have "large" bathrooms, "wonderful" furnishings, free WiFi and "soft" beds.

It was located within walking distance of Riverwalk area.
Valet parking crew had their heads up their asses.
The room was very clean & nicely decorated. It was also within walking distance of many nice restaurants & breweries.

Our stay at the Courtyard by Marriott was excellent. The location was perfect. Everything was clean, the staff was friendly, and the valet parking worked out wonderfully.

Staff was ridiculously rude and careless.
Hotel location, appearance and cleanness were decent and we can't complain about it; however the staff could be a little bit friendlier, especially for guests that are checking in after hours.
